July 2007 — "On a recent trip to Victoria we decided to go explore Chinatown after a friend suggested it. It was pretty cool with little bustling shops and busy streets. Probably the best part about it was Fan Tan Alley, a tiny side street that one could easily miss. A narrow walkway (there is no way two people can walk side by side), it is located between two large brick buildings. Little shops line this street and have amusing door numbers like 16.5. It is definitely worth checking out."

Chinatown Night Market

The Chinatown Night Market occurs once a month from June through September on a Wednesday; each brings a different theme, from karaoke nights to moon pies. Various vendors also set up their wares and the evening runs from 5 to 9pm.
