This busy street, which leads visitors to the attractions-packed Inner Harbour, is home to an electic mix of shops and boutiques. Each Sunday, from April to September, the Government Street Market takes place.

Come celebrate the Island's diversity with the gay pride parade through downtown Victoria. The parade starts at 12pm at the corner of Government and Pandora. At 1pm (MacDonald Park) there will be live bands, a beer garden and more.
Victoria International Buskers Festival

During the summer in downtown Victoria there are plenty of buskers on street corners and on the waterfront. But for this special week, there will be more than 500 performances by over 50 performers from around the world. Spot them in the inner harbour and along Government Street.
