Annual Honorary Address
The following societies CSPG, CSEG and APEGGA (CSPG - Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists, CSEG - Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, and APEGGA - The Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta) present the Honorary Address a public outreach.

The Honorary Address is an annual public educational event hosted by the Canadian Society of Petroleum Geologists and the Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists that began in the 1960s. It consists of a series of technically relevant presentations geared at informing people of all ages about earth science issues from the past, present and future. The Honorary Address not only reaches out to youth to encourage an interest in earth sciences but also attempts to bridge a gap between the geosciences community and the general public in order to provide individuals with pertinent technical facts for informed decision making. This event provides a forum for insightful thought, engaging questions and the ever important opportunity to never stop learning.
