Vocal Arts Festival

The Vocal Arts Festival invites elite artists from across Canada to unite in May and June to share three tales of LOVE AND MARRIAGE. Throughout the six week festival, patrons can hear song soiree evenings of French melodies, German lied and Italian/Spanish artsongs; afternoons of Light opera or sacred song concerts, evenings of "Vocal Gems" or Classic Broadway. The three mainstage productions are Light in the Piazza (Guettel-Tony award winning musical), Mozart's Marriage of Figaro and Dvorak's Rusalka (Western Canadian premiere).

Dramaworks provides opportunities for actors, playwrights, designers, directors, teachers, novices and professionals to explore and enhance their curiosity in the world of stage drama. The event features specialized instructors, diverse workshops and networking opportunities with professional practitioners and enthusiasts.
