Balmorhea State Park gives vistors the opportunity to swim, scuba dive and skin dive in the San Solomon Springs. The park is also home to a restored cienega, or desert wetland, where many endangered fish and birds can be found. There is an outdoor sports area, a picnic site and a concession (summer only). Tours and camping are available. There are restrictions on pets. No lifeguards are on duty at the springs.
