Maintained by the Deforest Historical Society, the Hansen-Newell-Bennett House Museum presents a variety of permanent displays, including information on the businesses, churches and schools in the area. A kitchen, parlor and bedroom are decorated in 1900s style, while the garage features automobile licences and garden and farm equipment. The museum is open the second Sunday of every month from June through December from 1pm to 4pm. Special appointments may also be booked.
