The Buffalo Bill Museum features exhibits on the Riverboat Pilots, the Sauk and Fox Indian tribes, the pioneers of Le Claire Township as well as Indian Artifacts. In addition to the frontiersman Buffalo Bill, the museum also focuses on James Buchanan Eads, the engineer of the Eads Bridge and James Ryan, the inventor of the flight recorder. Hours of operation from May 15-October 15 are 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday and Sunday noon-5pm. From October 16-May 14, the museum is open from 9am-5pm on Saturday and noon-5pm on Sunday.
