DescriptionLocated in Central Oregon, Ochoco National Forest covers 1,500 sq mi (3885 sq km) of land, including canyons, dense forests, desert terrains and Crooked River National Grassland. It was part of the Willamette National Forest until 1911, when it became a park of its own. A number of activities are welcomed in the park, including camping, hiking, fishing and cross country skiing.
