March 2007 — "This was a fascinating foray into the slimy world of reptiles. We were lucky to have the whole place to ourselves and got a good, close up look at hundreds of exotic and scary critters. Moving from one glass-fronted terrarium to the next, the surprises just kept coming. After a few minutes in the snake section, the attendant asked us if we would like to meet one. A couple of minutes later he reappeared wearing Britney, a beautiful Boa Constrictor, draped over his shoulders. As he introduced us you could tell he had a real passion for reptiles, and this intrigue rubbed off on us as he wrapped Britney around our own necks and answered our fascinated questions. The experience was well worth the admission: Reptile World has an impressive collection of creatures and information; and while the habitats are not depressing, I think there's always room for improvement in this respect for animals in captivity. I highly recommend supporting this place by stopping in for a visit."

Canada's largest live reptile display with more than 90 species including cobras, boas, gila monsters, pythons, bearded dragons and Fred the 600lb American alligator. Friendly professional staff are always on hand to introduce guests to one of their tame Boa Constrictors. Summer Hours 9am to 10pm daily. Spring and Fall: 10am to 5pm, closed Tuesday and Wednesdays.
