See one of the largest displays of operational aircraft under one roof with more than 40 aircraft from WWII to the Jet Age, including the only flying Lancaster bomber in North America. The museum contains aircraft restoration projects, artifacts, interactive displays, audio/video terminals, memorabilia and interactive aircraft. A large gift shop, restaurant and theatre are also located on the premises. Aircraft are displayed indoors and in the air (weather and crew permitting). Vintage aircraft rides can be purchased. Open daily 9am-5pm (closed only Christmas Day & New Year's Day).

The Canadian Woodcarving Championship (CWC) takes place annually and is held in conjunction with the Hamilton Woodworking Show. Our primary goal is to provide a superior Championship where all Woodcarvers, regardless of their degree of expertise, can display their carvings and enter competitions that offer rewards commensurate with the effort and dedication required to produce such Artistic Creations. Canada’s largest consumer woodworking show celebrates everything to do with wood for hobbyist and professionals at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (9280 Airport Road, Hamilton). The Show returns for its 22nd year from February 24th to 26, 2017.

No matter what level of experience or interest in woodworking, visitors to the Hamilton Wood Show can check out the latest hand tools, power tools, design trends, finishes and wood kits. Attending free seminars and learn from the best! Special guest Vic Tesolin author of the Minimalist Woodworker, alumni and past instructor of Rosewood Studio, past editor of Canadian Woodworking Magazine and Technical Advisor at Lee Valley Tools will be down from Ottawa to pass on his knowledge and expertise in various seminars.
