November 2008 — "I know you usually don't go to a casino for the food, but chances are while you're there you will probably grab a bite or two. My friends and I were at the Jackpot Casino recently and decided to grab a drink and an appetizer for a snack. I ordered the wonton soup and a plate of spicy hot wings. The service was fairly quick but the appetizers were a let down. The soup had no flavour at all and the wings were so greasy that I think I could have wrung them out and had enough to deep fry another meal. My friend ordered the teriyaki wings and they were so dried out that the sauce had hardened onto the plate. She ate one and that was enough for that dish. Now, there is a bright side to this place. Some of our friends ordered steaks which looked good and they enjoyed. The chef's salad also looked fresh and appetizing and another friend enjoyed her chicken wrap. If I ever try another meal there I think it's wise to steer clear of the appetizers and go for the full menu."
