November 2009 — "The best customer service for Calgary Casinos!!! Food is great, play is fun, with staff smiling at you all the time. They take all your comments seriously and try to improve, unlike all other casinos in the city. They have a great future ahead!!! Keep it up!!!"

December 2008 — "The atmosphere is nice (often great entertainment) and most of the servers are friendly. The prices are reasonable for drinks and great food. The Grey Eagle takes security and disorderly conduct very seriously so there isn't a safer place to be in Alberta. And thank goodness there's still a place in Calgary you can have a beer and a cigarette (well ventilated); even non-smokers I know appreciate the gesture of freedom.
However, there's two serious flaws with the place: They are usually pathetically understaffed. Speaking with other gamblers, and my own experience, it's not unusual to wait more than an hour for service while gaming, and even trying to get a drink from the bar can be an equally frustrating experience as one (maybe two) bartenders scramble to fill waitress's trays and dozens of customer orders.
Second, it's as if the Grey Eagle managers doesn't get the importance of hold signs for gaming machines. There aren't any around. You might be able to get a waitress to get you one - if you could get a waitress - but more likely you'll be told to leave your machine, go to the cashiers window to grab a sign, and hope like hell no one has taken your machine in the meantime.
So... to have a great time at the Grey Eagle, bring your own "hold sign" and lot's of patience.

August 2008 — "The casino features a first-class buffet for brunch and dinner. A variety of meats and desserts are on display, along with a fully stocked omelet station. During dinner, a giant fondue fountain allows visitors to dip into the flowing chocolate. The friendly service and bustling casino contribute to the pleasant dining atmosphere. Mother's Day and Father's Day brunch usually involves autograph signings from soap stars and hockey players. "
