May 2008 — "Last time I was in Red Deer I thought I would check out the city's newest theatre. I was really impressed with Galaxy Red Deer. The seating was so comfortable and there was plenty of leg room. The seats were also leveled well, so everyone could see. One thing I found a bit odd was how early they turn the lights off before a movie. My sister and I had arrived 20 minutes before the previews were supposed to start. As soon as we sat down the lights were turned off. So we had to sit in the dark for 20 minutes. At the end of the movie they didn't turn the lights back on either. So everyone had to exit in the dark. I guess they watch their power bills very closely."
