Western Speedway is a recreation park that features a 10-mile oval track. In operation since 1954, today it boasts seating for 3,000 fans. Drag racing, demo vehicles including stock cars and various car shows are held throughout the year. Also on site are: the Victoria Auto Racing Hall of Fame, go-kart track, golf driving range, batting cages and a campground with RV park. Find the speedway located on Highway 1 North of Victoria on exit 14.

Sooke Preschool's Annual Touch-A-Truck Fundraiser

Held by the Sooke Co-Op Preschool, this annual fundraiser event is sure to delight little ones with its full line-up of super machines available for exploring up close, including dump trucks, buses, police cruisers, fire trucks and other impressive vehicles. Face painting, inflatable play structures and other family-friendly fun are also offered.
