
Description
Once Victoria's tallest masonry building, this former French-Canadian convent and school (1871-1973), set in six park-like acres, now housing modern offices, contains a magnficiently restored 1858 chapel and some restored interiors. Open 10 am to 4 pm daily in summer, call for winter hours.

V.I.C. Fest (Vancouver Island Cultural Festival) is an outdoor festival that celebrates island culture. Held at St. Ann's Academy, the event features two main stages showcasing local island talent. Highlights include a beer and wine gardenwhere local brews and vinos may be enjoyed. Local food vendors and a gift market will also be on site. The event is all ages and kids 12 and under are free.

Bring the whole family to this all-day free event. In celebration of BC day, visit the grounds at St. Ann's Academy in downtown and enjoy live music and entertainment with an outdoor stage and performance areas throughout the grounds and inside the academy. The event runs from 11am until dusk.
