Annual Antique & Classic Car Show

This has become one of the largest shows in the Kawarthas with cars of every make and model from 1900 to present expected to arrive. Visitors and entrants have the chance to vote on their favourite cars with over 50 trophies available to be won.

Throughout the afternoon, the village will be filled with a variety of traditional demonstrations including redwork embroidery, quilting, blacksmithing and carpentry. Children of all ages can try carding wool to make a fleece mouse or stop by the Schoolhouse to make a souvenir craft to take home as a memento of your day.
Annual Father's Day Smoke & Steam Show

Enjoy the largest show of its kind in the Kawartha's! Local collectors bring to life some of the oldest antique tractors and steam engines around. Enjoy a free wagon ride and see Lang's own 1921 Sawyer Massey steam engine in action along with our collection of hit and miss engines.

Special Event Admission: Adults $10, Student/Senior $9, Youth (5-14) $6, Under 5 free, Family $30 (includes 2 adults & 4 youth). All taxes included.

Dominion Day

Celebrate Canada’s birthday the old-fashioned way! Throughout the afternoon enjoy games for the whole family including sack races, three-legged races, water balloon tosses and a tug of war. If you need to brush up on your history then sit in on a lesson about flags in our old-fashioned Schoolhouse and make your own Union Jack.

Take part in many pioneer demonstrations including quilting, spinning and making fleece mice from carded wool and listen to music by the Old Time Fiddlers & Dancers. Lang's own Sawyer-Massey steam engine will be running and the blacksmith and carpenter shops will also be in full operation. As well, all visitors will be treated to a slice of Birthday cake in honour of our nation!
Pioneer Corn Roast

Tempt your taste buds with fresh corn on the cob smothered in butter. Hop on board for a free horse drawn wagon ride through the historic village as pioneers demonstrate their trades and daily activities. Musical Guests. 10am to 4pm.
Christmas by Candlelight

Get into the spirit of the season with a traditional Pioneer Christmas featuring horse and sleigh rides, carolers, demonstrations, festive foods and a visit from Father Christmas.
