The complex features various exhibits and interpretive boardwalk trails, and guided tours are available. Highlights include the springs themselves, the original cave opening and a replica of the 1887 bathhouse and bathing pavilion.

Concert At The Cave

The Cave and Basin National Historic Site is proud to welcom the Great Lake Swimmers to the stage of Concert At the Cave on Friday, April 28 followed by Jill Barber on Saturday, April 29.

These concerts are free to the public and are both family friendly.

The shows start at 7:00pm with doors opening at 6:00pm
Banff Craft Beer Festival

The Banff Craft Beer Festival takes place at the home of Canada's first national park and is held each year in late November. The Cave and Basin National Historic Site is beautifully set at the base of the Canadian Rockies, and is now home to the world's most beautiful beer festival. Throughout the night, sample amazing food from some of Banff's best pubs and restaurants, try an offering of beers from Alberta's own breweries and share stories with local brew Masters.
