December 2011 — "The new science centre in its new location is a beautiful building and clearly well kept. However, unless you are under the age of 12 or with your kids, don't waste your money. The entrance fee is exorbitantly expensive for adult admition considering the facility is tailored for children. So if you are looking for an indoor activity to entertain your kids for a few hours this is the place to go. I you are looking to go to a real museum, I sugest the Glenbow or the Royal Tyrell Museum in Drumheller. "

Management Response:
"Thank you for taking the time to review. You are correct in stating that we are not a museum. We are a Science Centre. Programs are tailored to the majority of vistors that are attending. We do offer Adult Programming through Science Cafes, Astronomy Lectures, and transform the Science Centre during Adults Only Night. Teenagers will enjoy Astronomy Nights and our Teen Science Cafe Program. It all depends on when you decide to visit us. I encourage you to explore all of the events we have to offer and get the most value from your visit by attending a live science demonstration or joining us during any of these events which are all included with admission or free with annual Membership: http://www.sparkscience.ca/events For groups of 15 or more there is a discounted rate available and annual Membership pays for itself in just 3-5 visits depending on which level you choose. Thanks again for the review! TELUS Spark Team"

September 2008 — "I've heard from others that the Telus World of Science can be enjoyed by kids as well as adults. I have to disagree and say that it is really a great place for kids but not so much for adults unless they are accompanying a kid. Even the admission staff warned us that it was more for kids than adults."

January 2008 — "I'd heard the Calgary Science Centre was a big hit with families with kids, so I was a little hesitant about going with just my boyfriend in tow. We were reassured when we noticed some other childless couples queuing for tickets and after three hours of hands-on activities and a fascinating, engulfing film experience in the Discovery Dome Theatre, we were excited about all the incredible knowledge we had just gained. It's not just for kids! Relevant interactive exhibits allow visitors to experiment with and explore the physical science behind our everyday lives: sound waves and music recording, the force of gravity, electricity, energy, the power of the brain and more. There is so much to do and see and the fun exhibits and activities obviously fascinate children and adults alike. "Give me a turn, Dad!" could be heard around almost every corner! The exhibits are also well presented, but some naturally suffer a little wear and tear from all the little hands and could do with a bit of a spruce-up."

May 2007 — "My husband and I recently took our 3 year old to the Telus World of Science for the first time. I had concerns that he would be too young to enjoy it but it turns out I had nothing to be worried about. Highlights included the crane and grocery store in WOWtown and the musical floor and karaoke stage at the Creative Kids Museum. A great family outing!"
